The calendar has been designed to allow users to locate upcoming events taking place in Marin County. All events listed on the calendar will provide an Event Display page which will include the description of the event, the date and time the event will take place, and the location of the event. If there is a cost associated with the event, that cost will be listed as well. If tickets may be purchased online, a link will be provided to the ticket web site.
The calendar has a user-friendly navigation system which can be used to view the calendar by day, week, or by month. The individual views will allow the user to move forward to locate an upcoming event or to move backwards to locate a past event.
Every event is sponsored by a department within Marin County and for more information on the event; links are provided to navigate to a page about the Sponsor that has been provided by the department which enters the Sponsor's records. Detailed information is provided for each event listed on the calendar.
To further provide assistance in locating an event, an Event Search page has been added. The Advanced Search will help narrow down the criteria needed to find the event and provide the user with a more delimited list.
