This page can be accessed from a link, Job Postings, on the Marin County Government Home Page or from a link on the left side, in the colored bar, found on any of the County Government Web pages. This page provides information and links for the Marin County Human Resources job listings. When you first enter the page, you will see a list of currently open employment opportunities for all county government departments. For each job listed, you will see the job title and number, the department, the salary, deadline and a link to the online application for the job position.
For each job listed, there will be four links which can be identified by the blue font color. The job name is a link to the job bulletin. For most jobs, there will be a supplemental application required. If "supplemental required" appears next to the job number then this text will be a link to the supplemental application. You will also see an "Apply Now!" link and a link for the "Department" name under which the job is offered. If you click the "Apply" link you will open an online application form for the job. If you click the name of the department you will filter the job list so that only jobs for that particular department are displayed.
You can apply online for any of the available jobs by clicking the "Apply" link to the right of the desired job title. To download a copy of the application to fill out by hand, use the link just above the job listings or use the How to Apply link found at the top of the page. This page provides information on the various other options for applying.
The job listing page also has sub-navigation links at the top of the page for information about Job Classes and Salaries, and Benefits.
If you are viewing a county web page for a particular department, you will also find a sub-navigation link, Jobs, at the top of the page just below the department name. This link will display a list of jobs for just the department which you are viewing.
