If you are having trouble finding the information you are looking for, the first thing to do is to use the "Keyword Search". Enter a word or phrase in the "Keyword Search" box found on the home page or the at the top right of all other pages and click the 'GO' button found to the right of it. For example, if you were looking for real estate sale statistics for the prior year, you could type "Real Estate", "Sales", or "Real Estate Sales" in the keyword search box. After clicking the "GO" button, you would be presented with links for county services that contain the desired word or words, including a link to "Real Estate Sales in 2000". Click the link to see the sales statistics.
If you are unable to find the information you want using the "Keyword Search" you should review the alphabetic listing of links for all services offered by the county. This is accessed by clicking the "Services and Information" link on the home page or on the left hand navigation bar of any other county web page. This list contains hundreds of links so you must select the alphabetic letter for the services desired. Once you find the desired service in the list, click the service name to access the associated web page.
If you are still unable to find the service or information you are looking for and you know the county department to which the service belongs, you can search for services by department. To do this you will first access the list of links for all departments within the County of Marin by clicking the "Departments" link on the home page or on the left hand navigation bar of any page. This will present an indexed list of all County Departments. If you would like to see links for all of the divisions within each department, click the "Show Departments with their Divisions" link at the top of the page. From either of these indexed lists (Departments or Departments with Divisions), you can click the desired department or division name. Once you link to any department or division page, you will see a navigation link at the top of the page for "Services" for that department. Click the "Services" link at the top of the page to see the list of all services available for that department/division. Access the desired service page by clicking on the associated link.
If you are still unable to find the desired service, you can send email to the webmaster. Click the "Give Us Feedback" link on the home page or on the left hand navigation bar of any other county web page. Include the information you are looking for when you fill out the form and be sure to include your email address for a return response.
