Several support groups help the County Library by providing funding for library materials, equipment, and furnishings, improvements of buildings and grounds, and library programs. Among these groups is the Tomales Bay Library Association which provides support for branches in West Marin.

The Mission of the Tomales Bay Library Association is to support and advocate for the West Main Branches of the Marin County Free Library and the West Marin School libraries, and to foster library use, reading and literacy in the Tomales Bay Area.

The Tomales Bay Library Association meets on the 3rd Monday of the month 7-9pm at the Point Reyes Station Library.
