The Marin County Free Library has special events almost every day for children
of all ages. Here's a highlight of one of one in our series:
A Marin Humane Society trained volunteer and dog
are coming to the South Novato Library twice a month ~ the next time will
be Wednesday, February 20th. This is a very successful nation-wide program
to help kids overcome their fear of reading aloud. Children are picking
colorful library Reader books designed to help them learn how to read easily.
South Novato is fortunate to have a good collection with reading level stickers
to aid in choosing a book and a children's librarian is available to help.
Space is limited so please call 506-3168 to sign up.
We've received a large supply of popular Japanese Anime video (on VHS)--we're
letting them go at $1.00 each! Come early for best selection.
For you audio book lovers, we've got an abundance of audio book choices on cassette.
Many are library discards, but we've also amassed a number of donations. These
are great if you commute, or while doing errands around the house. They are
also on sale for $1.00--sorry, CD audio books are not included.
And of course, with Valentine's Day just around the corner, who knows what else
you can find for your special someone?
