The Marin County Board of Supervisors and Marin County
Free Library are beginning a Facilities Master Plan process to plan short- and
long-term library improvements and they need your help! Please join us
at an upcoming meeting to gather public input on library needs in your community.
The Marin

Kerry Louise Gillett has created a
show uniquely designed for Marin County's South Novato Library. Her works
include acrylic paintings, monoprints, and banners. With titles such as
"Brilliant Ideas" and Gathering Wisdom, the colorful banners have
transformed the industrial feel of the converget aircraft hangar in Hamilton
Field into a warm, cheerful place.
This project is a work of love for Ms. Gillett, a long-time supporter
of her library. She has combined her skills in feng sui, art, and interior
design to create a presentaiton that uplifts the mind as well as the soul.

INTERNET CLASSES
The Marin County Free Library offers classes and one-to-one tutoring in computer
basics, the Internet, e-mail, the Library’s online resources, Microsoft Word,

BOOKCLUBS
Marin County Free Library branches host a wide variety of monthly reading groups.
Club members meet each month for a lively discussion about a particular book or

STORYTIMES
The Marin County Free Library offers storytimes at each of the branches for children
in various age groups. Please check

BOOKMOBILE
The Marin County Free Library Bookmobile visits geographically isolated communities
throughout the County. Most stops are made twice within a four-week period each
month. Copies of the Bookmobile schedule are available at all County Library branches
and on the Bookmobile’s
webpage.
