Now you can shop from more than 750 online merchants and help raise funds for the Marin County Free Library at the same time! For all purchases made through the Shop for the Library website, participating merchants (like Target, Macy's, FTD, Expedia, The Gap, and Circuit City) will give a percentage of the sale to the Library!
Enroll in the program through the Shop for the Library website and be sure to specify us as the organization you wish to benefit. You can find the Marin County Free Library listed on the Shop for the Library website by searching under ‘State’ for California and then scrolling down alphabetically. Once you enroll & select the Marin County Free Library are your beneficiary, you can shop anywhere online. If the merchant is a program participant, the library will automatically receive a portion of the sale.
Monetary Donations
Our library looks to loyal customers and Friends to help support our services and collections beyond what our limited tax dollars provide. Cash gifts or multi-year pledges to the Marin County Free Library are very welcome, and will give you a tax deduction in the year of donation.

Materials Donations
Please contact your local branch for donation policies. We generally accept up-to-date, undamaged material such as books, videos, audiobooks, DVDs, and CDs for library use or booksales.
