Fire Extinguisher Training
The Mental Health Branch members attended the March 3, 2007 training
On Saturday March 3, the Mental Health Branch of the Marin County Medical Reserve Corps trained with the Corte Madera Fire Department on the proper use of fire extinguishers. Corps members were given the opportunity to dress in Fire Department "Turn outs" and extinguished a live fire.
This picture below shows an MMRC member being instructed in the proper use of portable dry chemical fire extinguishers. "It's important that this type of training take place among the various community based disaster response programs" explains Corte Madera Fire Chief Robert Fox. "We support the Marin Medical Reserve Corps and its efforts in providing a healthy & safe community" furthers Chief Fox. The Corte Madera Fire Department is one of many "Partners" associated with the Marin Medical Reserve Corps.
