Public Comment:
Public Comment During Meetings Of The Election Advisory Committee
The Election Advisory Committee was established by the Registrar of Voters and acts in an advisory capacity to the Registrar of Voters. The Registrar of Voters and the Advisory Committee welcomes public input and has set forth the following policy for such input at its regular meetings.
Members of the public may speak on any item on the Election Advisory Committee’s agenda for no more than 3 minutes per speaker. The Registrar of Voters may limit the amount of pubic input by non committee members at regular committee meetings in the interest of proceeding with the agenda so that committee business can be accomplished by 11:30 a.m. on the day of the meeting. Members of the public are also welcome to submit their comments in writing. Issues raised by speakers or members of the committee may be discussed at the meeting if there is time, or referred to one of the subcommittees of the Election Advisory Committee.
Advance notice from speakers is appreciated. Please either e-mail your Name, Contact Information, and Agenda Topic to eginnold@marincounty.org, or fill out the Speaker Request Form and return by the methods below either before or on the day of the meeting.
