MARIN HEALTH & WELLNESS CAMPUS

The Connection Center Community Advisory Board includes community members, local business owners, service recipients, and youth who advise Connection Center management on the current and emerging needs of the community and recommend systems improvements for Connection Center policy and programming.

12 Members, including:

• 4 Local Community Residents
• 4 Service Recipients 
• 2 Local Youth
• 2 Local Business Representatives
• 4 CBO/Agency Representatives

1. Bring emerging issues of the community forward.
2. Review usage policies and schedules
3. Evaluate the effectiveness of community outreach efforts.
4. Serve as liaison for the Connection Center in the community.
5. Review proposed prevention materials and activities (classes, events and screenings)

Appointment and Term:
Members are appointed by the founding members of the board for a term of 2 years. Terms are renewable. Members of the Advisory Board will be required to attend an orientation, as well as attend one meeting each quarter, or more as needed, to meet the goals of the Advisory Board.
