Imagine a community in which our children have strong healthy bodies, and where they do well in school. A community in which healthy food is easily accessible and affordable to everyone. A community in which there are plentiful bike and walking paths and recreation centers that can be utilized by all.
Marin County's Nutrition Wellness Program is doing more than just imagining this healthy community. Our sole purpose is to make this dream a reality in Marin County. Our mission is to promote healthy eating and physical activity in a community where the environment and policies promote life-long health, reaching out to schools, agencies and organizations serving low-income communities, with support and nutrition and fitness resource materials, policy education and nutrition and physical activity education.

These institutions are equal opportunity providers and employers. The CalFresh / Food Stamp Program provides nutrition assistance to people with low income. It can help buy nutritious foods for a better diet. For information on the Food Stamp Program, call 1-888-328-3483 or locally, 415-473-3470.”
