Collect and analyse data and develop surveillance systems to assure the health of Marin County residents.

Communicate the County's epidemiologic research process, findings, and implications to the community, advisors, the County's board of supervisors, funders, the media, as well as the national, local and regional research community.
Communicate risk management in an understandable way to all. Provide evidence-based picture of risk.
Respond to community concerns and develop and maintain a relationship with community. Help frame questions with others.
