Temperature Criteria:

  • 95 Degrees = Very high
  • 90 Degrees = High
  • 85 Degrees = Moderate
  • Relative Humidity Criteria:

  • 15 Percent = Very High
  • 25 Percent = High
  • 40 Percent = Moderate
  • Wind Criteria:

  • 15 miles per hour = Very High
  • 10 miles per hour = High
  • 8 miles per hour = Moderate
  • Days that meet the criteria shown above are divided into the total number of observations. Index values are determined by the sum of the Observation Factors.
