Beginning in Bologna in 1938, this story of Giovanna and her devoted father, Michele, takes a startling turn when jealousy takes its toll. This father-daughter relationship endures through the years, despite unfortunate circumstances. Fifteen years later, a chance encounter in a dark movie theater dramatically alters Giovanna’s life and the lives of her family.

In Italian with English subtitles and suggested for mature audiences.
