Directed by Federico Bondi, this 2008 drama, 2008, color, 95 minutes won Best Actress aware for Iliari Occhini at the Locarno International Film Festival.

This moving tale is of the relationship between Gemma, recently widowed and unable to live alone, and Angela, a young Romanian who comes to Italy to work as a caregiver. Bitter and quick-tempered, Gemma does not easily accept Angela as her caregiver, but is forced to accept the arrangement as her best option. The story evolves as a touching example of how true friendship overcomes differences of age and culture.

In Italian with English subtitles and suggested for mature audiences.
