The goal of the Marin County Sustainability Team is to work with others to develop policies and programs that will help make the County of Marin healthy, vibrant and sustainable for many generations into the future.

The Sustainability Team has implemented several initiatives to assess County progress towards sustainability. The County has released numerous reports that monitor County activity in terms of greenhouse gas emissions, resource use, and waste production. These initiatives assess County performance while proposing methods to improve performance and providing useful information and links to relevant resources.
