The Marin Energy Watch Partnership provides resources and incentive funds to help residents, businesses and public agencies become more energy efficient. The Partnership is funded by California utility ratepayers under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
Public Agencies, businesses of all sizes, and residential properties located in Marin County that are currently Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) or Marin Clean Energy customers can participate in the program.
NO-COST HALOGEN LAMP SWAP EVENT
2pm to 6pm each afternoon Monday, November 18 to Friday, November 22
Do you have a tall halogen floor lamp in your home? These lamps waste electricity and are dangerous: they can overheat and become fire hazards. California Youth Energy Services (CYES), a program of the Marin Energy Watch Partnership, will exchange your old halogen lamp for a new fluorescent version, of the same quality and brightness, at no cost!
All lamps must have a 300-watt or greater halogen bulb to qualify for a no-cost exchange to a brand new 55-watt fluorescent floor lamp.
You must be a Marin County resident and bring a copy of your Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) bill to participate.
