Energy Upgrade California in Marin County delivers the tools and resources that make it easy for property owners to reduce energy use, increase comfort, save money, and help the environment.

Participating is easy, just follow these four easy steps:

Visit www.EnergyUpgradeCA.org to learn more about the "whole house" approach to energy efficiency.
Find a local Energy Upgrade California participating contractor and schedule a home energy assessment to help you plan your upgrade.
Complete your upgrades.
Get your rebates! Learn how to get up to $4,000 from PG&E from your contractor and check to see if you qualify for additional incentives below.

 

Additional Local Rebates, Incentives, and Programs

North Marin Water District offers Water Smart Home Surveys and Rebates for its customers. Visit: www.nmwd.com for more information.
Resilient Neighborhoods uses the Low Carbon Diet workbook and a companion Marin Guide that includes Energy Upgrade California measures to help you learn how to lower your household's bills for energy, water and waste; build community by getting to know your neighbors, friends or colleagues better; and make your neighborhood better prepared for emergencies.

Financing Options

A variety of loan products are available to finance energy and other green building upgrades, and new financing products are in development.
