Bay Area Regional Aviation Work Group
The Bay Area Regional Aviation Work Group (BARAWG) was established
in December 2001 to guide the Federal Aviation Administration's first-ever comprehensive baseline
study and capacity analysis of air traffic control procedures, airspace and ground enhancements in
the San Francisco Bay Area. It will identify opportunities to make gains in airport efficiency and
capacity, while minimizing overflight noise in Bay Area counties and maintaining the safety of
commercial aviation operations in the region.
If you have noise complaints of commercial overflights, call:
SFO Hotline: (877) 206-8290 or (650) 821-4736
Oakland Noise Complaints: (510) 577-4194
The last Work Group's public meeting was held on October 3, 2002.
Scheduled meetings for 2003-04:
