The Marin County Community Development Agency
has taken its Green Business Program which began in April 2002 a step further
by launching the Sustainable Partners Program. The program is designed to
recognize certified Marin County Green businesses who are top community
performers in the County - those who go above and beyond environmental compliance
to attain levels of management that benefit people, the environment, and
communities as a whole. Program measures include additional environmental
impact reduction efforts, employee welfare and benefit policies, and corporate
philanthropy practices.
