Marin County Environmental Health Pool Program requires
permits for all public pools in Marin County. The County is divided
into eight districts each of which has an inspector who is responsible
for responding to complaints and inspecting the pools every year. The
concern of E.H.S. in this area is public health and safety.
The purpose of the Pool Program is to assure that all
public swimming pools and spas are maintained in a safe and healthful
condition.
