Marinwood Village Update
The Marinwood Collaborative which has been engaged in a community based planning process, consists of community representatives, Marinwood Plaza property owners, and County staff. As the final design takes shape, the Collaborative will continue to provide the conduit to the planning process to ensure that the design, appearance, land use mix and intensities, and other aspects of the development meet community expectations.
The Collaborative’s Guiding Principles represent a unifying operating platform upon which the design can proceed through the formal approval process, involving the community, the developer and planners.
The second phase of the design process was completed with help of the Collaborative. Unfortunately the economic downturn has stalled further progress for now. However, Mr. Hoytt has reported that his plan for the brownfield clean-up has been approved by the Regional Water Quality Control Board and he will be implementing the clean-up plan.
As new information becomes available, this website will provide updates. I hope you will stay informed and share with me the excitement we all feel as we see the Marinwood Village dream take shape.
