The Proposed Budget includes a revised format that presents budget information by programs to provide the public with more meaningful descriptions of County services and the funding needed for these services. New sections have also been added to provide an overview of county government and a statistical profile of the Marin County community.

On June 22, 2004, the Board will be asked to approve the FY 2004-05 Proposed Budget as an interim spending plan for the new fiscal year that begins on July 1. Prior to adopting a final budget for FY 2004-05, the Board will hold public hearings beginning on Monday, July 26, 2004 in the Board chambers, located in Room 330 at the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael.
