SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MARIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS HELD
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2004, AT 9:30 A.M.

PRESENT:  SUPERVISORS    Susan L. Adams, Harold C. Brown, Jr.,
Annette Rose,
          Cynthia L. Murray, Steve Kinsey, President

     CLOSED SESSION

     The Board met in closed session at 9:30 a.m. to discuss the
following:

1.   Appointed Department Head evaluation (Director of County
Library Services) pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.

2.   Appointed Department Head evaluation (Agriculture/Weights and
Measures Commissioner) pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.

     The Board recessed at 12:30 p.m. and reconvened in closed
session at 1:00 p.m.  All Supervisors were present.

3.   Appointed Department Head evaluation (Public Works Director)
pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.

4.   Appointed Department Head evaluation (Information Services
and Technology Director) pursuant to Government Code Section
54957.

     Board members agreed to continue the Department Head
evaluation for the Information Services and Technology Director to
a future date to be determined.

     ANNOUNCEMENT FROM CLOSED SESSION

     The Board recessed at 3:28 p.m. and reconvened in open
session at 3:29 p.m.

     The President reported that the Board met in closed session
and advised that there was no announcement at this time.

     The meeting was adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
