SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MARIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS HELD
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2004, AT 1:30 P.M.

PRESENT:  SUPERVISORS    Susan L. Adams, Harold C. Brown, Jr. (at
3:15 p.m.), Annette Rose,
          Cynthia L. Murray, Steve Kinsey, President

     CLOSED SESSION

     The Board met in closed session at 1:42 p.m. to discuss the
following:

1.   Appointed Department Head evaluation (County Counsel)
pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.

     (Supervisor Brown present at 3:15 p.m.)

2.   Appointed Department Head evaluation (Fire Chief) pursuant to
Government Code Section 54957.

     ANNOUNCEMENT FROM CLOSED SESSION

     The Board recessed at 5:10 p.m. and reconvened in open
session at 5:11 p.m.

     The President reported that the Board met in closed session
and advised that there was no announcement at this time.

     The meeting was adjourned at 5:12 p.m.
